Subject: Fuel Flush Program

 

This service bulletin is to make you aware of a problem that we have discovered with many machines coming thru our shop during our preventive maintenance inspection programs.

 

Customer complaints about diesel engine smoke, rough running, misfire, starting problems, and/or select diagnostic trouble codes, appear to coincide with the use of some Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) fuels. Diesel engine manufacturers, along with John Deere, have realized reduced performance in engines equipped with modern fuel systems when ULSD fuel is used. Although not a defect in the engine fuel system design, John Deere Power Systems has developed this customer support solution to address the fuel related engine performance issues listed above.

 

Our stores have invested in the flushing system to support you, our customer. For a limited time, we are offering a complete flush program including the filter, flush and labor for only $299 per unit.
